Job summary
The Shelter/WASH Technical Assistant supports day-to-day field-based implementation of NRC's Shelter and WASH projects delivered through direct implementation ensuring technical quality safe and inclusive programming compliance with Housing Land Property considerations and strong community engagement.- Ensure adherence to NRC policies tools handbooks and guidelines.
- Implement delegated shelter/wash activities according to approved workplans plans of action.
- Prepare submit status/progress reports required by management.
- Evaluate ensure projects target people most in need explore new better ways assist promote share ideas technical improvement adaptation apply Safe Inclusive Programming Diversity Participation across project cycle safety dignity meaningful access accountability participation actively promote PSEA standards Code Conduct act responsibility towards affected communities throughout assessments design delivery handover contribute technical packages BoQs drawings scopes support staff support shelter wash components area-level assessments including data collection basic measurements inform BoQs maintain up-date service mappings referral pathways support high-quality output outcome monitoring per Libya M&E Strategy tools guidelines photo documentation checklists beneficiary feedback provide timely accurate inputs internal external reporting mechanisms weekly/monthly updates GORS GOORS donor inter-agency 4Ws delegate maintain effective collaboration shelter/wash team core competencies support functions logistics finance HR HSS liaise community leaders local authorities partners facilitate safe transparent communication community participation.
