Position: Charge Nurse - Cath Lab

As a Charge Nurse in Cath Lab, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit and ensuring that all patient care is delivered efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with the nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Cath Lab unit
• - Monitor patient care and ensure that all treatments and procedures are carried out according to established protocols and standards
• - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• - Provide direct patient care as needed
• - Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
• - Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked
• - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
• - Identify and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise in the unit
• - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new policies and procedures
• - Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards

Requirements:

• - Valid nursing license and BLS certification
• - Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
• - Previous experience in a charge nurse or leadership role preferred
• - Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac procedures and treatments
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• - Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• - Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
• - Ability to work collaboratively with a team and promote a positive work environment
